Plan to go back in time in September by reliving the happy days of the ’50s and ’60s with an evening Sock Hop at Spring Creek Church. Trinadora Rocks and The Vince Chiarelli Band will provide a night full of music, dancing, and fun! The Sock Hop is set for Friday, Sep 8th, 6 - 9 p.m., 4500 Spring Creek Rd, with Windsor Pizza offering delicious main entrées, finger food, and soft drinks - complete with Sock Hop era specials. Windsor Pizza accepts cash, card, and touchless pay.

Admission to the event is $10 per person in advance, or $15 at the door. Purchase your tickets at www.vincentrecords.com which assures entry. Attendance is limited to 250 people. This is a true ‘50s-style sock hop, so, while optional, folks are encouraged to wear their best 50s apparel and dancing socks or Converse sneakers. Sock hops originated in the early 50s when kids at high school dances were required to remove their hard-soled shoes to protect the varnished floors of gymnasiums— sneakers were not yet in vogue as everyday footwear. 😊
